“Web Technologies and Web Design for Beginners”
“Web Technologies and Web Design for Beginners” is a comprehensive minicourse designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge and skills in web design and development. Through a series of engaging modules, participants will explore HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework, learning how to create visually appealing and functional web projects from scratch.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:

4. Course Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. It is suitable for beginners with no prior experience in web development.
5. Technology Requirements

- Access to a computer with an internet connection.
- Web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari recommended).
- Text editor for writing code (e.g., Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, WebStorm).
6. Grading Policy
Each activity is assessed on a scale of 0 to 100 points.
The contribution of each activity to the final grade is as follows:

- Quizzes: 25%
- Assignments: 50%
- Final Project: 25%
A passing grade on this course is 70%.
7. Late Policies
Late submissions will incur a penalty of 10% off maximum grade. Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances with prior approval from the instructor.
8. Schedule of Instructional Events
All quizzes must be taken the same week when the module is being learned.

9. Academic Honesty/Integrity Policy
Plagiarism or any form of academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. All work submitted must be original, and students are expected to write their own code. Borrowing code from open resources such as CodePen or GitHub without proper citation is not permitted and will be considered a violation of academic integrity. Any instances of cheating or unauthorized collaboration will result in disciplinary action.
